Vacation Time!

I will be away from my computer beginning tomorrow, Sunday, until Wednesday, Nov. 18th. I will be vacationing in Ixtapa, Mexico and I am in much need of sunshine, the ocean, and R&R! and of course delicious Mexican food! I will be sure to post photos from my trip and any fun and exciting items I find. Enjoy November! :)

Crafty Inspiration

You probably never thought a doily can be used in so many crafty ways. A doily can be used to create a pretty snowflake, valentine cards, place settings, banners, or to decorate a package or glass jar. They are very inexpensive, cute and has a vintage look. You can view more ideas at Ritzy Bee.
Enjoy your Saturday and do something crafty!

Too Pretty to Eat

These sugar cookies are too pretty to bite into! The Gumdrop Cookie Shop baked and decorated these lovely cookies for a wedding. These would be perfect at an outdoor tea party or any ladies' get together.

The cupcake liners from top are so unique and classy for a wedding, tea party, baby or bridal shower or a birthday day party. They are from Etsilo and both baked goods were found from the blog Something New, Something Old.

Have a great weekend and bake up something pretty!

Fields of Lavender

I came across this BEAUTIFUL photo online and I could not resist sharing it with you! I would LOVE to be in this field filled with lavender - how beautiful! I wish there were fields of lavender near me! This was taken in Provence. Have a lovely evening!

Farm House Shopping

While searching for fun antiques last night I came across a great store filled with yummy things for your home at awesome prices. The White Flower Farmhouse in Peconic, NY sells antiques for your home and garden. Take a look at what she has - I hope you enjoy searching as much as I did!

Hope you all had a lovely Halloween! The weather was not the best, but that did not turn trick-or-treaters away! There were so many great costumes!
If you have pumpkins laying around create a lovely window and centerpiece display like this one or above. Thanksgiving will be here soon and these pumpkin displays would look great in your home and your family will be impressed :)
Enjoy your Sunday and that extra hour of sleep!
